Piece-wise Smooth Solutions for 3-D Euler Equations

Abstract:
The solution for the generalized Riemann problem and other piece-wise solutions will be discussed for the 3-D Euler equations in non-viscous gas dynamics. We will give a general review and show some recent progress. Open problems and some tentative approaches will also be discussed.
