Title:
The complexity of energy landscape in spiked tensor model
Time & Venue:

Abstract:
In this talk we will first review the Kac-Rice method initiated by Auffinger, Ben Arous and Cerny in the study of complex energy landscape of spherical spin-glass models. In particular, we will explain how to use the Kac-Rice formula, combined with techniques from random matrix and large deviation principle, to derive the annealed entropy. Then we will talk about Subag's second moment approach which allows one to further obtain the quenched entropy on certain energy levels. In the last, we will mention an ongoing project with Gerard Ben Arous on deriving the energy landscape for a related model called spiked tensor model.
